Our Story

Venus & Mars is a small business located in the heart of Vancouver, BC. In November 2020, we moved to our new home at #105 - 223 West Broadway in the neighborhood of Mount Pleasant. We have been providing quality, handmade, alternative clothing since 1993.

Everything under the Venus & Mars brand is designed by shop owner, Sanné Lambert, and handmade in Vancouver, BC. We started out making Goth and Victorian alternative formal wear, but over the past decade, we have expanded into creating pieces for steampunk, rave, and festival outfits, as well as cosplay and LARP gear. Now, we provide awesome people with clothing for weddings, graduations, conventions, music festivals like Burning Man, or just everyday life. We have also been featured in some film and television.
