Since 1993, Venus & Mars Clothing has been keeping Vancouver weird—one handmade corset, velvet mini skirt, and steampunk coat at a time. What started as a tiny goth and Victorian-inspired clothing line has exploded into three decades of alternative fashion magic. We’re still proudly independent, still making everything by hand in Vancouver, and still serving up looks that say, “Yes, I came to slay.”

Born From Goth, Raised by Subculture

Back in the early ’90s, Venus & Mars was the place to go if you wanted to look like you’d stepped straight out of a Gothic novel or Victorian séance. But fashion—and freaks like us—don’t stand still. Here’s the thing: fast fashion could never. Every piece at Venus & Mars is designed by shop owner Sanné Lambert and handmade in Vancouver by our small team of artisans.
